Scholarships & Grants

Hundreds of scholarships and grants are available to students interested in pursuing study and careers in both STEM and STEAM-related subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math.

  • California State University & Community Colleges: Programs for first-generation students and specific local STEAM programs with their First-Gen Initiative.
     

  • Rose Hills Summer Scholarships enable UC Berkeley students from STEAM disciplines to immerse themselves in full-time summer research.
     

  • Cal Grant Programs: These are California-specific, need-based awards that do not need to be repaid, available to undergraduate students attending the University of California, California State Universities, California Community Colleges, and qualifying independent/technical schools.
     

  • CSU STEM-NET Grants: The California State University system offers specialized grants to support research, including Faculty Fellows and Undergraduate Research Scholarships, with a focus on STEM disciplines.
