Exploring the Moon

The Moon has fascinated humanity for thousands of years. How much is known about our nearest neighbor in space? What was learned from the Apollo and Artemis missions and what is planned for future exploration?

Join us at the Taylor Observatory as we take a deep dive into the exploration of the moon. After this one hour planetarium presentation (weather permitting) guests are invited to view the night sky through the Observatory’s telescopes.

Whether you’re a seasoned astronomer or just curious about the cosmos, this event promises to be an unforgettable experience. This event is open to all Lake County families.
